University of San Diego MBA Insights

 The MBA program at USD provides not only invigorating classroom settings but also unique learning experiences in international environments.  As a full-time student, I had the opportunity to partake in an overseas partnership with the Coppead Graduate School of Business, traveling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for an intensive Negotiations course.  While attending classes on the campus of the Federal University of Brazil, I enjoyed working alongside fellow students from USD as well as MBA students from the Coppead Graduate School.  We were not only welcomed graciously by our counterparts but also learned from their different perspectives on business practices, specifically in regards to negotiation skills and techniques.  Amidst this collaborative backdrop based around in-class simulations and interactive lessons, and led by a team of extremely knowledgeable and insightful instructors from USD, we were able to not only build but also apply many of the valuable tools obtained over the duration of the course.  In the process, we had the incredible privilege of experiencing the beautiful culture of Brazil firsthand.  The MBA program at USD is truly unique in providing these kinds of platforms for international experience, enabling students to broaden their perspectives and sharpen their business skills for a global economy.
